In a remarkable show of dedication to sustainable practices, the Sustainability Excellence award has witnessed an impressive influx of entries from various organisations across the fresh produce industry. The organisers have expanded the award into subcategories, allowing for three deserving winners to be honoured on the prestigious awards night.

Judges were enthralled by the ingenuity displayed by the participants in aligning their initiatives with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

"This year's entries reflect a profound commitment to tackling pressing global challenges," explained FPC's Chief Executive, Nigel Jenney. "The competition among the finalists is fierce, as all have showcased outstanding dedication to creating a positive impact on our industry and our planet as a whole."

In tune with the industry's emphasis on driving technological advancements and innovation in agriculture, the Agritech & Innovation Excellence category also experienced a record number of entries.
