Albert Bartlett has won the Fresh Awards 2019 Marketing Campaign of the Year for tackling the current challenges around the nation’s health and encouraging healthier eating. The Marketing Campaign of the Year award is sponsored by Jampro.
The challenge was to use the partnership to promote potatoes as a nutritious source of energy and part of a healthy eating lifestyle while promoting the wholesome family values of Albert Bartlett. Through a partnership with Sport Relief and an integrated marketing campaign Albert Bartlett has changed perceptions of its products and stepped up its brand engagement, social impact, corporate image and sales as a result.
“Albert Bartlett raised over £180,00 for charity by showcasing potatoes as a nutritious source of energy and part of a healthy eating lifestyle, achieving an impressive uplift over its target and benefiting the wider community,” commented Nigel Jenney, Chief Executive of the Fresh Produce Consortium.
