The evolving workplace in the food sector

The Fresh Produce Consortium and Freeths are running an hour long webinar on Friday 7th August at 10:30 aimed at providing attendees with an exclusive overview of the evolving workplace in the food sector. 

The session will be led by a panel of experts from Freeths - Emma Brooksbank, Partner, Business Immigration, Daniel McNally, Managing Associate, Regulatory and Emma Batten, Managing Associate, Employment.


The panel will provide insights into how the industry is rapidly evolving and will offer support into how best to navigate it's sometimes troubled waters.


The topics up for discussion include:

  • Need for a flexible and on demand workforce

  • Availability of immigrant workers and free movement of labour

  • Social distancing and Returning to work safely

  • Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS)

  • Flexible Furlough for workers

  • Statutory Sick Pay (SSP)

The webinar will be delivered via Zoom and there will be an opportunity to submit questions in advance, as well as during the session. Questions can be submitted upon registration.
