From field to fork, Covent Garden celebrates British Food Fortnight

Covent Garden is celebrating British Food Fortnight, a nationwide initiative launched by Love British Food to celebrate and promote British food and drink and mark British harvest time.

From Saturday 19th September to Saturday 4th October, favourite Covent Garden restaurants including Frenchie, Din Tai Fung, Petersham Nurseries’ La Goccia, The Oystermen, Ladurée, Mariage Frères and The Gentlemen Baristas will join the celebrations and create exclusive menus and dishes to showcase their ongoing support for British produce.

As part of this year’s celebrations, Covent Garden and New Covent Garden will join together for the first time since the capital’s iconic fruit and vegetable market at Covent Garden moved to its new location in Nine Elms Battersea,

becoming New Covent Garden Market.

With over 800 years of heritage positioned in Covent Garden and now in its new location for over 40 years, it remains London’s largest, premium fruit, vegetable and flower Market.

Covent Garden’s restaurants and bars have now reopened and are offering al fresco dining across newly pedestrianised streets.
