Free risk assessment webinar for FPC members

As the economy recovers later this year and into 2022, the true impact of the pandemic will begin to be realised. There will be winners and, unfortunately, losers. For many fresh fruit, vegetable, flower and plant growers, importers, and wholesalers, it has become increasingly difficult to assess risk or predict likely payment and even insolvency default.

It is also worth considering the potential impact that with both information providers and your own company rating underwriters which could impact future supplies to support your growth.

Companies within the fresh produce sector will need new ways to assess debtor risk. This will change post the pandemic and consequently there will be a greater need to consider solutions such as Trade Credit Insurance and debtor score cards. This is why FPC is holding an hour long free to attend webinar for its members on 20 April to help companies pick the winners and grow their business with increased payment certainty.

The speakers in this webinar will be talking about sector specific forecasts for sales of fresh produce including fruit and vegetables, flowers and plants. They will discuss how to gain insight and how to get the most out of the sales ledger.

Attendees will also find ways to manage their company’s risk once the Government Scheme lapses at the end of June 2021. The importance of grading customers to help pick the winners moving forward post-pandemic will be tackled along with getting advice on what support, technology and tools are easily accessible to FPC members to help manage risk.

More importantly attendees will get a view on the impact of the hospitality sector and the risks involved when lockdown rules are lifted and they will discover the importance of providing company information to underwriters and information providers to help with supplier risk.
