Already using the Chefserve Foodservice Business Management solution from Affinitus, Ralph Livesey will expand the solution with the deployment of the Vanlogik android mobile application to manage delivery routes, drivers, and vehicles.
The Vanlogik mobile app is integrated with the Chefserve business management solution so that data flows in real time bi-directionally between the phone app and the ERP solution.
Customer order, route and delivery data is shared to the driver via the app and delivery progress, ETAs, Proof of Delivery signatures, photographs and order comments collected electronically via the app by the driver are immediately available to the administration team in the office.
In addition, the driver can also record pre-departure vehicle check information via the app and use the integrated Google Maps functionality to navigate to the next delivery location and calculate an estimated time of arrival.
