2025 FPC Fresh Awards Hailed as a Spectacular Celebration of Industry Excellence

The 2025 FPC Fresh Awards have been hailed as a spectacular celebration of the UK’s fresh produce, cut flower and plant sectors, bringing together the biggest and brightest in the industry to honour achievement, innovation, and success.



Held at the JW Mariott Grosvenor House Hotel, London on Friday 26 September, the black-tie event shone a spotlight on the trailblazers, innovators and dedicated teams who are shaping the future of the industry. From groundbreaking agritech solutions and sustainability milestones to outstanding retail partnerships and inspirational individuals, the awards celebrated excellence at every stage of the supply chain.


Adding star quality to the evening was much-loved TV presenter Chris Bavin, who delighted the audience as host for the night, guiding guests through an evening of celebration, recognition, and inspiration.


Highlights of this year’s awards included:


  • Peter Durber of Tropifresh receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award for his decades of dedication to the UK exotics market.

  • Greosn crowned Fresh Produce Business of the Year, the coveted ‘winner of winners’ accolade.

  • Dyson Farming recognised as Technology Champion of the Year for its pioneering use of agritech innovation.

  • Thanet Earth honoured with the first ever Net Zero Impact Award for its bold decarbonisation journey.

  • Rising stars, dedicated managers, and inspiring teams from across the industry celebrated for their contribution and passion.


Nigel Jenney, Chief Executive of the Fresh Produce Consortium (FPC), praised the event and the winners saying: “The FPC Fresh Awards are the ultimate celebration of the remarkable talent, innovation, and commitment that make our industry so extraordinary.


"I am immensely proud of the achievements we have recognised this year – from the inspirational individuals shaping the future to the businesses leading the way in sustainability, technology, and supply chain excellence. The strength of this industry lies in its people, and tonight we have truly honoured them.”


The event also paid tribute to the ongoing resilience and forward-thinking spirit of the industry in the face of significant challenges, underscoring its vital role in feeding the nation and supporting communities.


With over 600 guests in attendance, the 2025 Fresh Awards once again cemented their status as the ‘Oscars of the industry’ – a glittering evening that reflects the pride, passion and progress of the fresh produce and horticulture sectors.
