Fenmarc Produce based in Elm, Cambridgeshire have completed the purchase of Alfred G. Pearce Ltd of Setchey, Norfolk for an undisclosed sum.
Fenmarc owners, Mark and Rachel Harrod, said of the acquisition: 'Alfred G. Pearce have been a trusted and valued supplier to Fenmarc for over 20 years. It is a local, family business we know well and joining together seemed a natural step working towards a more resilient supply chain, bringing together agricultural and operational experience.
"This will allow us to pool the knowledge and expertise of both businesses to deliver even better quality and service to all of our customers. The Pearce family and the broader leadership team at ACP will all continue to play a full and active role within the new integrated business and we look forward to working alongside them over the coming months and years."
