Jazz Apple is making a splash this summer with a vibrant sampling tour across the UK, kicking off in style at celebrity chef Tom Kerridge’s Pub in the Park festival in May.

At the event in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, which drew over 30,000 visitors, more than 40,000 slices of Jazz apples were handed out to guests, accompanied by a specially curated Jazz apple recipe book. The booklet was developed with input from Jazz brand ambassador and GB track and field star Jasmine Sawyers. Guests were also treated to live cookery demonstrations from culinary greats including Yotam Ottolenghi and Prue Leith.
The sampling tour will continue with appearances at several major events throughout the summer. Jazz will once again sponsor the British Heart Foundation’s Bournemouth Pier to Pier Swim on 5 July — marking its fifth consecutive year of support. Following that, the tour heads to the Great Yorkshire Show from 7–11 July, The Big Feastival from 22–24 August, and concludes at the Foodies Festival in Bath from 29–31 August.
Coinciding with the tour is the introduction of Jazz Apple’s new brand mascot, created to support the launch of Jazz Snackers — smaller-sized apples sold in handy six-packs, ideal for children and healthy snacking moments.
Hannah McIlfatrick, commercial director at Worldwide Fruit, commented: “It was fantastic to take the Jazz Apple brand on the road last year with our bespoke sampling vehicle and we’re delighted to have another busy event schedule this summer to further drive penetration and awareness in targeted areas.
“We learnt last year from our events that some people still hadn’t tried a Jazz Apple so it’s important we use the events to change this and reach new audiences. We feel the mix of events and locations this year will provide the perfect platform for us to do this. The events help build off the success the brand has already achieved.”
With festival crowds, family fun and fruity goodness at the heart of the campaign, Jazz Apple is set to make this summer one to crunch and remember.
