With skills development, succession planning and talent attraction continuing to be key priorities across the food and farming sectors, MorePeople is hosting a dedicated young professionals networking and career development event in Lincolnshire later this month.

The latest Young People in Food & Farming (YPFF) event will bring together professionals under the age of 35 from across the industry on 25 June at Roythornes Solicitors in Spalding.
The informal programme is designed to create an inclusive environment where those at the beginning of their careers can develop networks, gain industry knowledge, and access peer support.
Initiatives that encourage engagement among younger professionals are increasingly important for the future workforce across the agriculture and horticulture industries.
MorePeople, a specialist recruitment business serving the food and agriculture industries for more than 25 years, said it launched the YPFF initiative after identifying a need for more events specifically aimed at younger professionals.
“We’ve recognised a gap in industry events, where young people are often underrepresented,” a representative explained. “This event aims to create a welcoming, relaxed space where you can meet others in a similar position, share experiences, and build meaningful connections.”
Guiding The Next Generation
The event, which runs from 6pm to 8pm on 25 June, aims to provide an opportunity for early-career professionals to build meaningful connections, share experiences and gain insights from others working across the food and agriculture supply chain.
The evening will feature a series of short insightful presentations from young professionals representing organisations, including Sakata, BOFIN, and AF Group.
Speakers will share their career journeys, discuss key lessons learned and reflect on the advice they wish they had received at the start of their careers.
A panel discussion and live question-and-answer session will follow, allowing attendees to engage directly with speakers and explore topics ranging from career progression and professional development to opportunities within the wider food and farming sector.
Alongside the formal programme, guests will have the opportunity to network informally over food and drinks, creating further opportunities to establish industry contacts and exchange ideas.
Attendance at the event is free, although advance registration is required due to limited capacity.
